This Privacy Policy explains how Musabela (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit musabela.com, place an order, or contact us.

For questions about this policy or to exercise your privacy rights, email support@musabela.com.

Customer support information: Messages, order details, photographs, and other information you choose to provide when requesting assistance.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from service providers that support our store, payments, delivery, analytics, and advertising.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Process payments and fulfill orders.
  • Provide tracking information and order updates.
  • Handle support requests, cancellations, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Remember your shopping preferences.
  • Maintain and improve our website and customer experience.
  • Understand how visitors use our store.
  • Measure advertising performance and deliver relevant advertising.
  • Send marketing communications in accordance with your preferences and applicable requirements.
  • Detect fraud, protect our services, and resolve disputes.
  • Meet accounting, tax, and other legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share information where needed for the purposes described in this policy with:

  • Shopify, which hosts and supports our online store.
  • Payment providers, which process payments and refunds.
  • Fulfillment and delivery providers, which prepare, deliver, and track orders.
  • Customer support and technology providers, which help us operate the store and respond to requests.
  • Analytics and advertising partners, including Google and services connected through Shopify Audiences.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect customers, our business, and others against fraud or unlawful activity.

4. Shopify and Shopify Audiences

Our store uses Shopify. Shopify processes personal information to provide and improve its services.

We also use Shopify Audiences and related Shopify Network Intelligence services to improve advertising and personalization. These services can use information about your interactions and purchases from our store together with information from interactions with Shopify and other merchants.

Audience information is used to help identify people who may be interested in relevant products and is shared with connected advertising platforms. Other merchants cannot directly access our customer data through Shopify Audiences.

For details about Shopify’s processing and your rights with Shopify, read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also visit Shopify’s Privacy Portal.

5. Google Analytics and Advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to improve its performance and shopping experience.

Google and our advertising partners may receive information such as device identifiers, IP addresses, browsing activity, purchases, and interactions with advertisements. This information supports measurement and, depending on your choices and the services involved, personalized advertising.

Learn more about how Google uses information from websites that use its services.

You can manage Google advertising preferences through My Ad Center and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These tools apply to the services they describe and do not replace your privacy choices with Musabela.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for:

  • Store functionality: Shopping carts, checkout, security, and remembering privacy choices.
  • Preferences: Remembering settings such as your selected region or currency.
  • Analytics: Understanding website use and identifying improvements.
  • Advertising: Measuring campaigns and supporting relevant advertising.

Some cookies last only for a browsing session; others remain until they expire or are deleted. Their duration depends on the technology and provider.

Where consent is required, you can accept or reject non-essential technologies through our cookie controls and change your choice later. You can also manage cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect store functionality.

Your IP address or selected region may be used to display relevant currency and regional options. Associated cookies may remember these preferences.

7. Marketing and Advertising Choices

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. We may still send necessary communications about your orders, payments, or support requests.

Sharing identifiers, browsing activity, and purchase information with advertising partners can constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under certain privacy laws.

Where applicable, you can opt out through our Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link or by contacting support@musabela.com.

Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC). Browser-based choices may apply only to the browser or device used.

The older “Do Not Track” browser setting is different from GPC and does not have a uniform response standard.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion.
  • Obtain a portable copy.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.
  • Appeal a decision about a privacy request where that right applies.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

To submit a request, email support@musabela.com. We may need information to verify your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, subject to appropriate verification.

Some information may need to be retained to complete transactions, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes.

9. EEA and UK Visitors

Where EEA or UK data protection laws apply, we process information on relevant legal grounds, including:

  • Performing our contract with you, such as fulfilling an order.
  • Complying with legal obligations.
  • Legitimate interests, such as operating and securing our store, where these do not override your rights.
  • Your consent, where required.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority in your country.

10. Fraud Screening and Human Review

We and our providers use automated tools to identify potentially fraudulent or unusual activity.

Musabela’s decisions to reject or cancel orders involve human review. We do not make these decisions solely through an automated process.

If you believe an order was incorrectly flagged or canceled, contact support@musabela.com.

11. International Processing

Our service providers operate in different countries, so your information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in Canada and the United States.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, these may include recognized contractual protections or other approved transfer mechanisms. Shopify explains its international processing in its privacy policy.

12. Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including fulfilling orders, providing support, meeting legal obligations, preventing fraud, and resolving disputes.

Retention depends on the type of information and why it is needed. A deletion request may not require us to remove records we must retain by law.

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

13. Children’s Privacy

Our store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@musabela.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

14. Other Websites

Our website may link to external websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, practices, or applicable requirements. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
